Rural Health Program is an outreach project of Red Cross Society Rewa in
collaboration with District Health Committee and other
governmental departments of Rewa, to provide holistic health
care and awareness facilities at the remotest villages of Rewa
district. with
the aim to bring down the maternal and infant mortality
and to reach the geographically and socially un reached:
we have initiated our project in October 2006
Objectives
To
cater to the medical felt needs .
To
screen for Hypertension, Diabetes , Cataract
and Anemia.
To
perform Disability Survey and to do need assessment and
counseling .
To
provide correction for refractory errors.
Special;
Services for female patients.
To
enhance the awareness toward healthy antenatal, postnatal,
neonatal and infant care, we conduct "Healthy
Mother Show " and "Well baby show " at every
village.
Health
and Hygiene Education to village people.
To
conduct health awareness activities at school by Lectures
and literature distribution.
So
far we have covered following villages.
